Call for Papers!
2018's School of World Studies Student Research Conference will be held on Nov. 8 and 9 in VCU's Student Commons.
We invite undergraduate and graduate students in the social sciences and the humanities at VCU and neighboring universities and colleges to submit proposals for paper presentations, posters, and special sessions. All research topics are welcome, with special interest in work on the broad theme of social justice and social movements. Research presented can be completed or works-in-progress.
Proposals for individual papers or posters and panel sessions are encouraged.
Submit your abstract of no more than 150 words as well as a clear and concise title through our submission form by Oct. 1, 2018. Presenters will be notified by Friday, October 12, 2018 of their acceptance.
The Student Research Conference provides undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to present their research in a professional setting to other students, faculty, staff, administrators, friends, and the general public. The conference is held each November in the Student Commons and is free and open to the public.
