The School of World Studies Advising Office is committed to helping you succeed, both during your time at VCU as well as after, by connecting you to the resources, information and support you need. Through degree planning and other practical support, we can help you make the most of your student experience. We also act as a liaison with Career Services and help you determine and prepare your ideal professional path.
The School of World Studies helps you make it real by engaging in the world at large. We are unique for our focus on experiential learning which immerses you in global and cross cultural environments. We can help you leverage the most value out of your time at VCU by assisting with course selection, study abroad and other concerns.

We also offer walk-in hours if you have a quick question or a VA or ARAC form which needs signing. Please note that there is a 15 minute time limit on walk-ins.
Mondays: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Tuesdays: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Wednesdays: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Fridays: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
World Passport/World ePass
The School of World Studies is committed to helping you make it real through experiential learning opportunities such as study abroad, internships, service-learning coursework as well as the completion of the World Passport or World ePass portfolio.
Students who enrolled in Fall 2018 or later are required to complete the World ePass. Students who enrolled prior to Fall 2018 have the choice between the World ePass or the World Passport. Please contact us for more information.
